The Detroit Lions figured they might lose both their offensive and defensive coordinators right after the season ended. Both were mentioned as candidates for head coaching jobs around the league.
Well, now fans know both are returning.
Earlier in the week, offensive coordination Ben Johnson said he's staying put. On Thursday, Sports Illustrated reported that Aaron Glenn was returning as well.
The two coaches will return next year to face higher fan expectations of making it to the Super Bowl after falling a bit short this time.
The Sporting News announced Thursday that Lions general manager Brad Holmes was voted by "peers" as the NFL Executive of the Year and Dan Campbell the NFL Coach of the Year.
